Hassaan Ibn Thaabit (May Allah be pleased with him)

Hassaan ibn Thaabit (May Allah be pleased with him) was the poet of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him and he had a minbar in the Prophet's Masjid that he used to stand on and glorify and defend the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him. In a hadith narrated upon the authority of 'Aisha who said:

 

"The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him put a minbar in the masjid for Hassaan that he used to stand upon and glorify the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him or defend the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him. The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: 'Verily Allah helps Hassaan with Ruh-ul-Al-Qudus (i.e. Jibreel) as long as he is glorifying or defending the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him.'"
