It has been told by the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) to Hazrat Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) that if he want to keep in his mind whatever he listens, he should recites the following Dua after each prayer.
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَعْتَدِي عَلٰى أَهْلِ مَمْلَكَتِهٖ سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَأْخُذُ أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ بِأَلْوَانِ الْعَذَابِ سُبْحَانَ الرَّءُوْفِ الرَّحِيْمِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِي قَلْبِيْ نُوراً وَ بَصَراً وَ فَهْماً وَ عِلْماً إِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ.
Transliteration:
"subhaana man laa ya’tadee a’laa ahle mamlakatehi subhaana man laa yaakhozo ahlal arze be-alwaanil a’zaabe subhaanar raoofir raheem allaahummaj a’l lee fee qalbee nooran wa basaran wa fahman wa i’lman innaka a’laa kulle shay-in qadeer."
Translation:
"In the name of Allah the Beneficent, and the Merciful. Glory be to be him who does not oppress His subject Glory be to him who does not chastise the people of the earth with various punishments. Glory be to Him who is kind (and) Merciful O my Lord establish in my mind, light insight wisdom and knowledge indeed you have power on everything."
