Sa'd ibn Mu'aadh (May Allah be pleased with him) was the chief of the Aws tribe of Medina. He accepted Islam on the hands of Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr and after he accepted Islam he told his tribe and family members that he would not speak to any of them, male or female, until they embraced Islam. So all of them embraced Islam! He also fought alongside the Messenger of Allah (May Allah be pleased with him) in the Battle of Badr, the Battle of Uhud, and the Battle of Al-Khandaq.
